Today, I had the privilege of donating a Starlink Internet System to ITT Radio 90.9 FM as part of my commitment to strengthening community media and improving access to information for our people.

Reliable internet connectivity is essential for timely news, effective communication, and quality broadcasting. I am pleased that the Starlink system has already been installed and is now operational, enhancing the station's online broadcasting and digital services.

I firmly believe that when we invest in community institutions, we empower our people with knowledge, opportunity, and a stronger voice.
Together, we will continue working towards a more connected, informed, and developed Itezhi Tezhi.

CLEAR PATH TO PROSPERITY FOR ZAMBIA AS HH LAUNCHES CAMPAIGNS 🇿🇲

Today's launch of the UPND campaign by President Hakainde Hichilema is a reminder that our focus remains on delivering real development and creating opportunities for every Zambian.

The HH7 Goals set out a clear direction for growing our economy, creating jobs, strengthening agriculture, increasing power generation, expanding tourism, and unlocking Zambia's full potential.

For us in Itezhi-Tezhi, these are not just national goals—they are opportunities for our people. As part of Zambia's Beef Hub Region, we are well placed to benefit from the target of US$1 billion in beef exports. Our cattle farmers, livestock cooperatives, and local businesses must be part of this journey.

We also stand to benefit from increased investment in agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure, creating more opportunities for our youths and improving livelihoods across the district.

The people of Itezhi-Tezhi will not be left behind. We will work to ensure that these national goals translate into real benefits for our communities.

Heartfelt Thank You to the DEBS Office, Itezhi-tezhi.

I am deeply humbled and honoured by this recognition from the District Education Board Secretary's Office.

I would like to sincerely thank the DEBS Office, the leadership of Kabulungwe Primary School, and the people of Itezhi-tezhi for their appreciation and support.

Access to clean and safe water is not a privilege,it is a basic necessity for every child. With the introduction of free education by His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema , it is our collective responsibility to ensure that learners have an environment that supports their education, health, and wellbeing.

This donation was driven by a simple belief: no child should have to risk their life in search of water before they can learn.

We remain committed to taking development to every corner of Itezhi-Tezhi and will continue supporting initiatives that improve the lives of our people. Together, we can ensure that every child has access to clean water, quality education, and a brighter future.

My focus remains on unity, development, and supporting the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema as we work towards victory on 13th August 2026. Together, we move Zambia forward.

RHODWELL CHITANDA DENIES ENDORSING ANY CANDIDATE IN ITEZHI-TEZHI EAST

Former Itezhi-Tezhi East parliamentary candidate Rhodwell Chitanda has dismissed claims that he has endorsed any candidate contesting in the constituency ahead of Zambia's forthcoming general elections.

Speaking to ITT Radio News, Mr. Chitanda described reports linking him to the endorsement of any candidate as false and misleading, urging members of the public to disregard them.

He noted that he is currently reflecting on his political journey and the movement that was built together with the people of Itezhi-Tezhi East.

He also expressed gratitude for the support, trust and confidence that residents have continued to show him throughout the years.

Mr. Chitanda indicated that his immediate focus is on supporting the presidential campaign of Hakainde Hichilema.

He revealed plans to actively campaign across Itezhi-Tezhi East Constituency in an effort to mobilise support for the President ahead of the elections.

He further appealed to voters in the constituency to rally behind President Hichilema, arguing that continued support for the Head of State would help sustain development, strengthen unity and promote prosperity.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV.

On behalf of myself and the people of Itezhi-Tezhi, I extend my sincere condolences to the Ngoni Royal Establishment, the bereaved family, and the entire Ngoni community.

Zambia has lost a respected traditional leader whose wisdom, leadership, and commitment to preserving our cultural heritage will be remembered for generations.

May the soul of His Royal Highness rest in eternal peace.

One thing that strongly stood out for me from the speech by His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema was the vision of creating regional economies in every province. This will unlock Zambia’s true economic potential and create opportunities closer to the people.

For us in Itezhi-Tezhi, this vision presents a huge opportunity. Our constituency is richly blessed with cattle, and we have the potential to become a major hub for beef production and livestock development in the region.

With proper investment in dams, veterinary services, value addition, and market access, cattle farming can transform livelihoods, create jobs for our youths, and strengthen our local economy.

The future of Itezhi-Tezhi lies in harnessing the resources God has blessed us with and turning them into sustainable economic opportunities for our people.

The vision is clear, and the time to position Itezhi-Tezhi is now.

Today, I joined thousands of party members and supporters at Mulungushi International Conference Centre to witness the filing in of nomination papers by our Party President and Republican President, Hakainde Hichilema.

The President’s message was very clear and inspiring. I am fully ready to be Bally’s campaign manager on the ground, and I will go flat out in campaigning for our President ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The message to the people is simple: a lot has been achieved in the last four years and nine months under President Hichilema’s leadership. From free education, reinstatement of meal allowances, debt restructuring, increased Constituency Development Fund (CDF), stability of the Kwacha, and record high foreign exchange reserves, the New Dawn Government has delivered tangible results for the people of Zambia.

As we move forward, our duty is to protect these gains and continue supporting a leadership that is focused on development, unity, and improving the lives of ordinary citizens.
