ZAMBIA EVENING WEATHER FORECAST THURSDAY (27/08/2026)
*SUMMARY:*
A high-pressure system over the Indian Ocean is still inducing a strong and relatively moist southeasterly airflow across Zambia, leading to partly cloudy, windy and warm conditions over the northeastern half of the country, while the rest of the country will be mainly sunny, windy and warm to hot weather conditions.
*FORECAST FOR TONIGHT: THURSDAY (27/08/2026)*
*Eastern province:* Partly cloudy, windy and mild to cool.
*Northwestern, Copperbelt, Luapula, Northern, Muchinga, Central, Lusaka, Southern and Western Provinces:* Mainly clear, windy and mild to cool.
*FORECAST FOR TOMORROW: FRIDAY (28/08/2026)*
*Eastern, Muchinga, Northern, Luapula and Copperbelt Provinces including the northern parts of Northwestern and Central Provinces:*
*Morning:* Partly cloudy, hazy, windy at times and cool to mild. Minimum temperature will range between 06°C and 17°C.
*Afternoon:* Partly cloudy, hazy, windy at times and warm with a chance of light rain over the northern parts of Luapula, Northern and Muchinga Provinces. Maximum temperature will range between 23°C and 29°C.
*Evening:* Partly cloudy, windy at times and mild to cool.
*Lusaka, Southern and Western Provinces including the southern parts of Northwestern and Central Provinces:*
*Morning:* Mainly sunny, windy and cool to mild. Minimum temperature will range between 04°C and 15°C.
*Afternoon:* Mainly sunny, hazy, windy at times and warm to hot. Maximum temperature will range between 25°C and 31°C.
*Evening:* Mainly clear, windy and mild to cool.
*OUTLOOK TO SATURDAY (29/08/2026):*
Most parts of the country are expected to experience partly cloudy, windy and mild to warm conditions, however, Northwestern, Western and Southern Provinces are anticipated to be mainly sunny, windy and warm to hot.
