As for us we are not refusing to affiliate with the association, OUR MAIN COMPLAINTS ON THIS IS THE FEES ARE TOO HIGH FOR A GROWING ART COMMUNITY IN ZAMBIA AND It's TOO EARLY FOR THIS INDUSTRY TO EMBARK ON SUCH A JOURNEY IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.

the period too is too short. HAVE YOU CONSIDERED your clientele first of all.
YOUR CLIENTS MOST OF THEM ARE UPCOMING THEATRE GROUPS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND SOME COME FROM COMMUNITIES WITH NO SPONSOR OR FUNDING BACKING UP THEIR INVESTMENT. We know they have to be affiliated at the end of the day but how do you just come in just like that ............. Strategy, strategies COME UP WITH A PROPER STRATEGY ON HOW YOU ARE GOING TO SINCERELY MAKE THEATRE GROUPS AFFILIATE WITH YOU INVOLVE A PUBLIC RELATIONS PERSONELS MARKETERS AND PROMOTERS , AT THE END OF THE DAY ZAMBIA'S THEATRE AND ARTS INDUSTRY HAS TO GROW.
WORK ON PROVIDING PLATFORMS AND REVAMPING YOUR AIMS .
UNLESS YOU ARE TELLING US THAT YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR CLIENTELE.

We will keep sending artists to do so! But consider our complaints too!

1. Already this association has not even made the country understand the BENEFITS OF BEING AFFILIATED WITH them. Make artists understand and give them time to decide whether they want to or not .

2. WE AS Ziza Is Promoting WE WOULD LIKE OUR INDUSTRY TO KEEP GROWING AND WE ASK THAT YOU COLLABORATE WITH AS MANY INVESTORS, SPONSORS,FUNDERS,PROMOTERS ORGANIZERS AND MEDIA PLATFORMS AS POSSIBLE TO SINCERELY GROW! For you already have production houses to work on! That have to represent our country on international platforms.

SAD NEWS! Sudden Resignation: Côte d’Ivoire’s Olivia Yacé Vacates Miss Universe Africa & Oceania Title

Miss Cote D’Ivoire : The COMICI (Miss Côte d’Ivoire Committee), holder of the Miss Universe license, regrets to announce the withdrawal of its representative, Olivia Yacé, Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2021, for personal reasons related to her elected mandates with Miss Universe, obtained at the end of the 74th edition of the Miss Universe International Competition held on November 21, 2025, at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Consequently, COMICI officially informs the Miss Universe Organization of the withdrawal of the Côte d’Ivoire candidate from all titles and mandates issued by the organization.

Olivia Yacé therefore renounces her title of Miss Universe Africa & Oceania effective on the date of this notice.

Miss Olivia Yacé, Miss Universe Africa & Oceania 2025, will formally return her Africa & Oceania sash to the organization so that there is no misunderstanding and to attest to this joint decision.

Done in Bangkok on Monday, November 24, for all legal intents and purposes.
