“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.”Devotion:
God never forces us. Even His love comes with an invitation.
Every morning we get a choice:
Choose worry or choose faith.
Choose bitterness or choose forgiveness.
Choose the world or choose Jesus.Just like your boyfriend chooses you out of everyone, God chose you first. And now He asks you to choose Him back. Chosen love is daily. It’s not guaranteed by default — we have to water it with prayer, obedience, and gratitude.Prayer:
Father, thank You for choosing me. Today I choose You.
I choose life, I choose peace, I choose Your way over mine.
Help me walk in the choice I made. In Jesus’ name, Amen.Challenge for today:

Submission and fatherhood are not about control and silence; they are about divine order and love. Submission means willingly aligning yourself under God’s design. It is not weakness it is strength under control. It is choosing humility, respect, and trust in God’s structure. When a person submits according to God’s Word, they are not losing their voice; they are honoring God’s order.

“Submission is not weakness; it is strength surrendered to God’s order.”

Fatherhood is more than being a biological parent. True fatherhood is responsibility, protection, guidance, and sacrifice. A real father leads with love, not fear. He covers, provides, corrects gently, and reflects the heart of God. Authority in fatherhood is not meant to dominate but to nurture and build.

“Fatherhood is authority wrapped in love and responsibility.”

In marriage and family, submission and fatherhood must work together. Submission without loving leadership becomes oppression. Leadership without humility becomes dictatorship. But when a father loves sacrificially and leads like Christ, submission becomes natural and peaceful. God’s design is balance love flowing downward and honor flowing upward.

“Where love leads, submission follows naturally.”

Even in spiritual settings, fatherhood means guiding, mentoring, and building others without controlling them. Spiritual submission means honoring leadership and remaining accountable, but never tolerating manipulation or abuse. Everything must reflect Christ’s character.

“True spiritual fatherhood builds sons; it does not compete with them.”

At the heart of submission and fatherhood is love. When Christ is at the center, homes are strengthened, children feel secure, and relationships flourish. Without love, authority becomes harsh and submission feels forced. With love, everything becomes life-giving.

“Submission is strength under authority. Fatherhood is authority under love. Both must reflect Christ.”
