My Lost RIB. PAGE 1.... "How was the flight?" Ryan asked with a tooth smile,"It was pleasant my boy." Mrs Burke, Ryan's mother answered in her amiable tone with a motherly smile as she reached out for a hug. Besides her was her husband who appeared fascinated by the elegance of the house in America's New York city. Behind them was Jimmy krypton, one of Ryan's men whom he sent to pick them up at the airport. He had their luggage awaiting further instructions from his boss. Ryan gave her a firm hug, telling her how much he missed them. It had been his idea that they took time off their busy schedules, if any, and visit him. He was affluent, owing millions of dollars worth of assets that he single handedly invested in a clothing factory business as well as a fish net making firm that played quite an indispensable role in supplying fish nets to government agencies including firms in the private sector. With the latter firm, emerging competitors kept it on its toes but survival was guaranteed through customer loyalty earned by virtue of groovy quality that embraced prices capable of threatening the survival of new competitors in the long run. The clothing business targeted all customer groups ranging from the rich to the poor, young and old, fat or thin..........just all classes. Both firms were based abroad in canada's ontario where he did his university studies and worked for a coffee-producing firm for eight years before venturing into his own business. The feasibility study conducted in both canada and his new home, America, proved the former was a profitable destination. He was of German origin although he spent a number of years in the united states with his aunt before leaving for neighbouring canada after being awarded a scholarship. Laying it on the line, Europe, particularly Germany had fallen out of his favour regardless of the fact that virtually all European countries were his clients. His abhorrence for the continent had been kept under wraps. There was just no need for anyone to know........well, at least that's what told himself. Now, loving the foreign continent, he had even bought houses in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco and also Vancouver. That is two in New York and one in every town. Industrious, he had been and all he longed for was a vacation in New York, a vacation he was currently on.......... "You've really grown, son." She said as she withdrew from the hug, looking gently at him from head to feet and back to his face.
