Some exciting news for you! Now you can pay for digital public services online via Government E-Services Portal using IZB SmartPay Internet Banking.

To apply and pay for digital public services using IZB Internet Banking, follow the next steps:
1. Navigate to Government E-Services Portal (https://eservices.gov.zm/)
2. Log in using your ZamPass account
3. Navigate to your workplace and apply for e-service
4. Select IZB SmartPay Internet Banking as a payment option
5. Log in and complete your payment via IZB SmartPay Internet Banking
6. Once the payment is completed, return to Government E-Services Portal, get your digital receipt and continue the application process

MTN Mobile Money is now on ZamPortal

Great news! Now you can pay for government services online via Government E-Services Portal using MTN Mobile Money. To apply and pay for digital public services using MTN Mobile Money:

2. Log in using your ZamPass account
3. Navigate to your workplace and apply for e-service
4. Select MTN Mobile Money to complete the payment and type in your phone number
5. Confirm the payment transaction using your mobile device

Zambia Police Service joins the Government Service Bus and launches digital public services on the Government E-Services Portal.

The following e-services are available to applicants online 24/7 on ZamPortal:

1. Police Clearance Certificate (Fingerprints)
2. Provisional Firearm Certificate
3. Firearm Certificate
4. Interpol Motor Vehicle Clearance
5. Cross Border Permit Interpol Motor Vehicle Clearance
6. Permanent De-Registration of Interpol Motor Vehicle Clearance

Download a Printout

When applying for a service online via Government E-Services Portal, don't forget to download the printout. The certificates are always available for you online 24/7 in your personal Workplace on ZamPortal.

To download a certificate just follow these simple steps:
1. Navigate to Government E-Services Portal (https://eservices.gov.zm/)
2. Log In using your ZamPass account
3. Navigate to "My Workplace" compartment
4. Navigate to the "Completed" folder
5. Find the desired case folder and open it
6. Navigate to the "Documents" sub-folder
7. Find the print-out and click on it to download the document

All the certificates are available for you anytime via your personal Workplace on ZamPortal.

ZamPass Password Reset

ZamPass is a Government Digital Identity and Authentication Service which provides you with access to the Government e-Services Portal. In case if you forgot your password and would like to reset it, you can do it by following the next steps:

1. Navigate to ZamPass portal
2. Choose a "Password Reset" option
3. Provide your username
4. Receive the letter with the password reset link to the E-mail account, associated with the ZamPass account
5. Navigate to the one-time password reset link
6. Type in the new password and save the changes
7. Login using your username and the new password

If you have trouble when receiving the E-mail, please don't forget to check your Junk/Spam folder.

Applying on Behalf of Someone

Do you have a need to apply for government service on behalf of another person? There's an easy way to do this on ZamPortal.

Just log in on ZamPortal with your ZamPass account, apply for government service and query the data about the applicant, if you apply on behalf of someone using the National ID (NRC or Passport Number for foreigners).

Once the applicant's data is retrieved, you would be able to continue the application process normally on behalf of the applicant, acting as the applicant's representative.

New E-Services in 2021

By the end of the year 2021, over one hundred e-services would be added to the Government e-Services Portal. According to the digital government roadmap defined by the President of Zambia, all government public services are going to be digitized and integrated into the Government Service Bus (GSB) platform.

New e-services coming to ZamPortal in 2021 would be provided by:
- Ministry of Lands and Natural Resouces
- Road Transport and Safety Agency
- Department of National Registration, Passports and Citizenship
- Patents and Companies Registration Agency
- Ministry of Tourism and Arts
- Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency
- Water Resource Management Authority
- etc.
