Today I Inspireed Youths to Choose Knowledge, Purpose and Unity
I shared a powerful message of hope, purpose and responsibility to young people, urging them to embrace knowledge, discipline and self-awareness as the foundation of meaningful leadership and sustainable development.
Addressing youths during a motivational engagement at Twalumba Resort in Chibombo District, I want to challenge young people to reflect deeply on their identity and direction in life.
A young person who does not know where they are coming from and where they are going will easily be misled, Knowledge gives you the power to say no to lies, manipulation and confusion.
My words should be flowed among the youths like the sweetness of honey, igniting hearts and minds and drawing resounding applause from an inspired audience.
Emphasizing servant leadership, i reminded the youths that leadership must empower rather than create dependence.
Leadership is not about giving people fish. True leadership is about teaching people how to fish, so that they can stand on their own and build a better future for themselves and their communities.
The role of faith and moral grounding in shaping responsible citizens and the positive influence of the church on young people.
When young people are rooted in the church, they are less likely to be drawn into destructive habits,” The church plays a critical role in governance by shaping values and character
Calling for unity, i urged youths to rise above jealousy and division.
We cannot develop as individuals or as a nation when we are divided,” he said. Unity is our strength and together we can achieve far more than we ever could alone.
On national responsibility, i cautioned youths against political violence and manipulation, especially during the general election period.
Do not allow anyone to use you as tools of violence Let us show Zambia that young people can lead with peace, ideas and solutions.”
I concluded by affirming the importance of discipline and values in leadership and national development.
A disciplined youth is a powerful force for national development
My future depends on informed, principled and courageous young people.”
I attended the engagement in the company of Liswaniso Gilbert, following an invitation from Elder Godfrey Chitanga, the project director for youth programmes under the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Through our National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso K120,000.00 was raised towards the organization of the forthcoming Seventh-day Adventist Church conference scheduled for May 2026, which is expected to be graced by His Excellency. My contribution was described as a gesture of support toward youth development, faith-based leadership and national unity.
My inspirational remarks were delivered during a church leadership symposium under the youth leadership programme, where i was invited to motivate, energize and mentor young people toward purposeful, value-driven leadership.
