ETHIOPIAN DELEGATION IN ZAMBIA TO SIGN BILATERAL AGREEMENTS ON HONEY INVESTMENT 🍯🇿🇲🇪🇹

A high-level delegation from Ethiopia has arrived in Lusaka for a series of strategic engagements with the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment and other key government institutions.
The delegation, led by His Excellency Tom Michelo, Zambia’s Deputy Ambassador to Ethiopia, is in the country for high-level discussions focused on investment in the honey value chain — a major step toward promoting green enterprise, trade, and sustainable livelihoods.
During their visit, the delegation held meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, and other relevant authorities to explore opportunities for collaboration in apiculture development, value addition, and regional market integration.
Thereafter, the delegation is expected to sign bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between Zambia and Ethiopia in the honey industry, positioning both nations as regional leaders in sustainable apiculture and green investment.
This initiative reflects Zambia’s growing commitment to green economic transformation, climate-smart investments, and regional cooperation. 🌍🤝
