Rusangu University (RU) This is the official Rusangu University page. It is for all current and past students of Rusangu University including the faculty and staff.

Well wishers and friends of the University are part of the big RU family too. You are all welcome! RU is an institution of higher learning operated by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, licensed and registered as a private University under university Act 11 of 1999 by the Government of the Republic of Zambia. RU prepares students not only for professional careers but also equips them physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.

Rusangu University and the Rusangu University International Church , participated in a Community Service Day on May 31, 2026. The initiative brought together, church members, staff representatives and community leaders in a united effort to uplift vulnerable members of society through acts of kindness and practical support.
As part of the outreach program, assorted items including blankets were donated to needy and vulnerable individuals within the surrounding communities. The donations were aimed at providing relief, restoring dignity, and offering hope to those families facing difficult social and economic circumstances.

The Community Service Day serves as yet another milestone in the Rusangu University's journey of transforming lives and strengthening community relationships. It underscores the institution's unwavering belief that education and service go hand in hand and that every individual deserves care, support, and opportunities to thrive.

While the institution is widely recognized for providing quality higher education and professional training across various disciplines, the university firmly believes that true education extends beyond the classroom. It encompasses service to humanity, compassion for the less privileged, and active participation in addressing societal challenges.
