NOTICE TO ALL SUCCESSFUL POLL STAFF CANDIDATES

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), Senanga District, wishes to inform all successful poll staff candidates that the Poll Staff Training will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, 5th August 2026.

All successful candidates are required to report to the training venue indicated next to their National Registration Card (NRC) number on the published list at 08:00 Hours.

Please ensure that you report on time.

NOTICE TO ALL SHORTLISTED POLL STAFF

This serves to inform all shortlisted poll staff who sat for the Aptitude Test that the training which was scheduled to commence on Sunday, 2nd August 2026, has been postponed until a later date.

Please also note that the names of the successful candidates have not yet been published as the process has not yet been concluded.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia will communicate the new training dates and the list of successful candidates once the process has been finalized.

PRESIDENTIAL VISIT TO SENANGA DISTRICT

Senanga District was honoured to receive His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema.

The visit provided an opportunity for the President to engage with the people of Senanga, appreciate ongoing development initiatives, and reaffirm the Government's commitment to improving the livelihoods of citizens through enhanced service delivery and sustainable development.

The visit marks a significant milestone for the district and reflects Government's continued dedication to fostering inclusive national development.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has commenced the selection of poll staff for deployment to the 90 polling stations across Senanga District ahead of the 13th August 2026 General Election.

The selection exercise follows the successful completion of the screening process.

Prior to the commencement of the selection exercise, members of the Poll Staff Selection Committee took an oath, committing themselves to uphold fairness, transparency, confidentiality and integrity throughout the process.

The exercise forms part of the Commission's preparations to ensure that qualified and competent poll staff are deployed to facilitate the smooth conduct of the forthcoming General Election.
