PICTURE HIGHLIGHTS TRAINING OF POLL STAFF
On Thursday 6th August 2026, the District Electoral Officer Ms Choolwe Maunga officially opened training of POLL STAFF in Kariba and Sinazongwe constituencies at Maamba Secondary School and Sinazongwe Sinazongwe School respectively.
Ms Maunga encouraged the POLL STAFF to conduct themselves in a professional manner and take their training seriously in order to deliver credible elections in Sinazongwe District. She encouraged them to be focused during training so that can they not only pass the assessment at the end of the training but also to ensure zero mistakes during the conduct of elections scheduled for 13th August 2026. Ms Maunga emphasized the need for participants to particularly understand how to correctly fill in forms such as the Ballot Paper Account Form, Record of proceedings at the count and Announcement of results form as this is a key requirement in delivering credible elections. She called on all participants to be determined to be part of the successful and meritorious conduct of incident-free elections in Sinazongwe District.
