Youth Service in Zimbabwe is a national program aimed at training and empowering young people with skills, discipline, patriotism, leadership, and community service values. It is often associated with the government’s efforts to prepare youths for national development and employment opportunities.

One of the well known versions was the National Youth Service program, sometimes called the “Border Gezi Training Program,” introduced in the early 2000s. The program focused on.

Yesterday Cde Craig Ernest Moyo, a Youth Service in Zimbabwe Graduate, unpacked the Constitutional Amendment Bill No.3 (CAB3) to Youth Wings from Sister Revolutionary Parties across SADC together with youths from opposition parties. The engagement highlighted how citizens openly expressed their views during public hearings, with many voices strongly backing CAB3 as a people-driven process rooted in consultation, participation and democratic engagement. The youths appreciated the importance of allowing the masses to shape national discourse through public hearings and constructive dialogue.

The ZANU PF Youth League continues to champion rural development and digital empowerment in line with President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030.

Today, Secretary for Local Government and Central Committee member Cde Charity Ndlovu donated computers and a Starlink kit to Ntenjane Primary School, enhancing access to digital learning and internet connectivity. In the same ward, Norwood Primary School officially opened for learning on May 12, marking another milestone in expanding access to education and ensuring that no one and no place is left behind.
