As the curtain comes down on ZITF 2026, we reflect on a week of powerful connections and bold ideas. At Hillside Teachers’ College, we didn’t just showcase innovation — we lived the theme: “From Knowledge to Industry: Education 5.0 Driving Connected Economies and Competitive Industries.”

Every conversation, every smile, every curious mind at our stand was a step toward transforming teacher education in Zimbabwe. What may seem like small gains are, in truth, giant strides. We met our future students, partners, and collaborators — people we would never have reached had we not been here.

The experience was nothing short of inspiring. And as they say, the pictures tell the story better than words ever could.

As interactions continued on the stand ,HTC was honoured to host Dr. Engineer T. Mudondo, Secretary to the Tertiary Education Service Council (TESC), at our ZITF 2026 stand.

In the spirit of this year’s theme — “From Knowledge to Industry: Education 5.0 Driving Connected Economies and Competitive Industries” — his visit underscores our shared vision of producing innovative, industry-ready teachers who will power Zimbabwe’s growth towards Vision 2030.

"Hillside Teachers' College (HTC) hosted the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Dr. F. Shava, in a visit that showcased the institution's strides in innovation and industrialization.

Following a comprehensive tour of the college's facilities, Minister Shava lauded HTC's efforts, expressing satisfaction with the level of innovation on display. He commended Principal Dr. S. Jabangwe and staff for their dedication to implementing Heritage-Based Education 5.0, a key driver towards achieving national goals and Vision 2030.

The visit underscores HTC's commitment to aligning its programs with national development priorities.

🔥✨HTC Wellness & Sports Awards Day 2025- What a Vibe✨🔥
In the last week of September on the 24th, our campus was transformed into a hub of energy, laughter, culture and community spirit. From rhythm of dance and Zumba to the thrill of basketball, street football and tug of war- every moment was filled with joy and connection. 💃⚽️🏀💪

We also celebrated our heritage through mamtshayana, shared wisdom in inspiring speeches, and crowned champions in our award ceremony. 🏆🎤

Here's a glimpse of the memories we created together- proof that at HTC, Wellness is more than just fitness, it's family, fun and culture. ❤️
