TPM Foundation iyo inotungamirwa naSabhuku Mliswa yakapa mbeu yechibage kumaSabhuku ose emuWard 5 kuShurugwi mwedzi uno muchirongwa chekuendza kubatsira kupedza dambudziko renzara munharaunda.

Mbeu iyi yakapiwa maSabhuku pachikoro cheJongwe Primary apo pakanga paine hurongwa hwekupiwa mibairo kuvana vakagona chikoro muchikamu chichangopera cha2025.

Foundation Funds Speech and Prize As Village Heads Get Seed Maize

TPM Foundation, led by Sabhuku Mliswa this month handed seed maize to Village Heads from Ward 5, Shurugwi in an initiative meant to help support food security in the area.

The seed was handed over at Jongwe Primary School were the Foundation had supported the school’s Speech and Prize Giving Day program.

Speaking after the handover Sabhuku Mliswa said, “we are glad that rain has begun and we want to empower the Village Heads because they help the entire community.

“We have come up with this program because what they receive from the Government isn’t enough so we have to supplement.

Sabhuku Mliswa thanked President Mnangagwa for the efforts taken towards alleviating food insecurity through various Presidential programs such as the Inputs Program.

Meanwhile Sabhuku Mliswa’s Foundation was also part of the sponsors who funded the 2025 Jongwe Speech and Prize event.

Over 65 students from ECD to Grade 7 received various prizes with Mliswa adding giving out monetary prizes for all of them.

The school’s best teacher also received a US$300 cash prize.

Meanwhile two of the best students in sports also received scholarship support under the TPM Foundation and will be transferred to new schools.

Norton Secondary School hosted the 2025 Speech and Prize Giving Day in November and as one of its benefactors we were there to hand over some prizes to the winning students.

We continue to focus on supporting the vulnerable, affording them access to education and an equal chance at success in life.
