> MenBelievED yesterday hosted a monumental Youth Sports Tournament at Jenya High School grounds in Chivi North drawing thousands of vibrant young people from Ward 5 and surrounding areas. The highly successful event saw 25 netball and 25 soccer teams competing for top honours. True to the Second Republic’s people-centred development philosophy, the tournament transcended mere entertainment. It served as a strategic platform to conscientise and lure virgin youth voters into ZANU PF Party structures while vigorously amplifying the unprecedented, tangible developmental footprint of H.E President Cde Dr E.D. Mnangagwa, a footprint defined by transformative rural modernisation, youth empowerment and the relentless pursuit of attaining an upper middle income economy by 2030.

> Crucially, the Youth Sport Tournament directly confronted the scourge of drug and substance abuse as well as early child marriages, twin vices that threaten our youthful demographic dividend. In doing so, through targeted awareness campaigns interspersed with sporting activities, young people were educated on the dangers of addiction and the lifelong consequences of marrying before adulthood. Accordingly, by bringing this vital campaign to Chivi North, the tournament delivered a powerful message of discipline, girls’ empowerment and productive community participation, core values championed by the Second Republic. The overwhelming turnout demonstrates that the revolutionary party continues to resonate with the masses, leaving no one and no place behind.

The affiliate applauds the Second Republic and His Excellency President Cde Dr. E.D Mnangagwa for his uncompromising war on narcotics, evidenced by the arrest of drug lords, crackdown on traffickers and the sealing of the country’s ports of entry against illicit inflows. MenBelievED is proud to complement this national offensive by using sport as a catalyst for awareness, resilience and community renewal in Chivi.
