Day 2.....The IECMS second phase is progressing well at the Labour Court and Administrative Court. Lawyers and other court users have hailed the digitisation of the courts saying it was long overdue.

Today the Labour Court and Administrative Court successfully digitised under JSC's 2nd phase of IECMS.
Implementation of IECMS phase two started well without glitches.
Commissioner Trish Jasi and selected JSC staff are attending a three-day training workshop in Harare on health and wellness. The training is meant to capacitate the team to roll-out a JSC health and wellness programme across the country.
The training workshop is being conducted by the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.
DAWN OF A NEW ERA....The Labour Court and Administrative Court are now paperless. Implementation of the IECMS 2nd phase has started.
The court is expected to help decongest Harare Magistrates' Court and Mbare Magistrates' Court. It will be manned by two magistrates dealing with both civil and criminal cases.
JSC Secretary Mr. Walter Chikwana today toured Epworth Magistrates' court to assess the state of preparedness ahead of its official opening.
Construction work at Epworth Magistrates' Court is now complete. The court will open its doors to the public on February 24 2023.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.... An Assistant Registrar at the High Court in Harare Mrs Mary Grace Maunganidze has received a token of appreciation for working hard to clear dormant files in the superior court's registry section.

JSC deputy secretary Mr Msipa hailed council for the offer saying size of the land should be increased from 2 000 square metre to 5 000 square metre.
Council agreed to amending the offer.

The Judicial Service Commission has been allocated land to build courts in Gweru as part of its decentralisation drive and bringing justice to the people. The magistrates' court will be constructed in Mkoba while the High Court will be built in town.
