If I was to be blessed with a child today, I would have named him or her “Takazvireva” which is a Shona word meaning “We have said it” or “We have told you “ ,For my father and I have always told the world through our articles and my book (*For Victory,Towards African Unity*), that it is the impirialist’s way of surviving that they they have to exploit and plunder the resources of any nation whose leaders fail to defend sovereignty and economic interests. They promise peace but they deliver war, The impirialists, with the USA in particular, can only be friends with another country only if it supports capitalist’s agenda, or is weak enough to be their prey or to be used as a proxy just like Japana, South Korea and Israel.Ukraine is one which is also on the path to become one of America’s proxies to be used to counter Russia’s Eastern Europe regional dominance and expansion. Zelensky a mere comedian who rose to fame and became president of Ukraine has been blind folded and told things that never existed and will never see. The United States promised him back up support against Russian aggression which they (the Americans) had created after influencing Ukraine to join NATO, a military alliance used by the US to cause chaos in hostile countries as did in Afghan, Lybia and Iran, but that backup will not be a free and fair deal , rather it will be based on horse and rider relationship where Americans will do whatever they deem necessary with Ukraine’s rich natural resources . They have tried to do this also in African countries like Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo where they are supporting the evil M23 rebels, Zimbabwe and Burkina Faso but they have failed to totally take control just as they have done to the Eastern Europe nation of Ukraine.
A lot of events in the history of American politics have proven that since the end of the first world war (after 1918), The United States has always implemented foreign policies that enables America and its allies to dominate the world militarily and economically through aid which is one of their major tools they use to attain their agenda but the recent altercation between America’s crazy President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian comedian(at Whitehouse on 28 February 2025)-has brought light to many general citizens of this world on Trump and America’s totally unacceptable behaviour.
The altercation between Trump and Zelensky at the White House has brought to the forefront the long-standing truth of America's behavior on the global stage. The incident, which saw Trump berating Zelensky over US aid to Ukraine and the country's leadership, is a blatant display of American arrogance and bullying which is so disgusting. In the video, I smiled triumphantly when I saw Zelensky being reduced to nothing as he was being done what my late heroic father could tame as “Garira nekoko” (I am here, secure there) by Trump and JD Vance.This dramatic incident at the Whitehouse made it visible to the blind that this was a planned attack on Zalensky if he refuses cease fire with no guarantees for tomorrow. Zelensky is regretting and Africa is learning.It’s only now that Zelensky is trying to stand up for his people against Evil imperialists who wanted to bully and armtwist him into entering an agreement of cease fire initiated by the Trump and Vance administration that has no security guarantees in the future but the truth is that he should have avoided this more than five years ago when he assumed power after being backed by the West. Zelensky must nurse his baby. He owes an apology to the people of Ukraine who have been affected by the war since February 2022 to date and to his family members also because after being exposed by this drama, he is now a disgrace to them. He has humiliated them truly.The actual truth is that Zelensky moved into an ambush that was carefully chereographed by Trump and Vance that is why he was invited to a meeting which was more like a pub brawl.
This behavior is not an isolated incident, but rather a symptom of a broader pattern of American exceptionalism and hegemony. For decades, especially after the second world war (1945) and after the Cold War ( 1990)the United States has positioned itself as the self-proclaimed leader of the free world, often using its economic and military might to exert influence over other nations. This has led to a culture of entitlement and superiority, where American interests are prioritized above all else and this is I have been trying to put clear in my book that we need to overturn this as Africa because what is happening to Ukraine is not new to us but we have evidence from Lybia, Liberia and Sudan where Americans and or NATO have disturbed regional peace and security to pave ways gor their resources .Trump's condescending tone and language, as well as his apparent expectation that Zelensky would simply acquiesce to his demands, demonstrate a staggering lack of respect for the sovereignty and dignity of other nations.I would not be happy to see my President being treated like a toddler in front of the whole world. Although he is stupid, Zelensky deserved to be respected a little, for the sake of the office he holds. Mind you This is not an isolated incident, as Trump has always demonstrated a willingness to disregard international norms and institutions in pursuit of American interests.
This incident highlights the deep-seated hypocrisy that underlies American foreign policy. While the US has long positioned itself as a champion of democracy and human rights, its actions often belie this rhetoric. The US has a long history of supporting authoritarian regimes and undermining democratic movements when they are deemed to be contrary to American interests that is why now Trump has guts to call Zelensky a friend “ a dictator “ and Biden “ a stupid president who was not smart” This hypocrisy is particularly galling in the context of Ukraine, where the US has been vocal in its support for Ukrainian democracy, yet is willing to use its leverage to extract concessions from the Ukrainian government. Americans are now forcing the Ukranian comedian to accept ceasefire agreements because they are fearing wrath from the East ( Russia, China and North Korea) and Africa in the case of a World War III breakup not because they want to save the world or the people of Ukraine but Americans alone. I even laughed when I saw Trump streesing his point in a serious manner that it might be a problem if they continue doing business in such manner. In such a situation, Trump is seeing business??A businessman will die a businessman for sure, but one day he is going to gamble with your lives. Africa be careful, for this is a lesson to you.
The implications of this behavior are far-reaching and profound. It undermines trust and cooperation between nations, creating an environment of suspicion and hostility. It also perpetuates a system of global governance that is increasingly seen as illegitimate and unjust. As the world becomes increasingly multipolar, the US would do well to adapt its behavior to reflect the changing global landscape.
In conclusion, the altercation between Trump and Zelensky is a stark reminder of the darker aspects of American behavior on the global stage. It highlights the need for the US to re-examine its role in the world and to adopt a more humble and cooperative approach to international relations. Imagine if Trump can do this to a European leader, what about to a black African president who is trying to protect his country, and his people? Our leaders need our support, and we need thei support also before we fall into oblivion. All of us as Africa

*Well, actually the aid from the West and their allies is given to Africa to keep repressive regimes in power.This exposes all the hypocrisy about transparency, democracy and nonsense like that because it is of no secret that if a president does not accept the aid, he or she is killed. Africa is really in a big trouble, in an economic warfare where the rich declare war on the poor whilst the whole world is watching. That is democracy, defined by the imperialists when the rich and powerful control the weak governments, of course they do. Shame on Africans who really believe that they have democracy, truly they must politically grow up. Who has all the subsides and income support? Its United States of America and Europe. The largest budget in the world for supporting African farmers and agricultural activities is from Europe and the United States of America as a tool of keeping them dependent, so as to block anyone else from getting on top of the ladder. The truth is that an industrialized economy is far much ahead of an agricultural one. One should compare between the industrialized economies of Western Europe and the mining and agriculturally based economies of Africa which collectively may contribute to a GDP lesser than one of the American companies*
