We would like to thank all who took part in the march and clean-up campaign. FDIT will be having a an Awareness March and Clean-up Campaign in Harare CBD on Friday 11 April 2014. The march which will commence at Corner Robert Mugabe and Leopod Takawira at 10am ends at 1st Street marching along RMugabe Way. The march will be led by the Prison Band with Inmates from Chikurubi Prisons, Ex-inmates and other supporting members of other organizations such as Zimbabwe Prison Fellowship, ZACRO, PORA amongst others. The clean-up will done along First Street. The aim of the march is to raise awareness on crime and encourage society to accept the ex-offenders back into society so as to reduce re-offending. We would also like to invite those who were released by Amnesty to participate in the campaign. FDIT will be preparing a documentary based on the research made on how society have so far viewed the ex-offenders. Willing members of the public are welcome to join the organization in giving their views on reintergration of ex-offenders into society. Those willing to share their views should join in the campaign, as we are also bringing Music Artists to weigh-in with their views in regard with this matter. The march and clean-up will end at 12pm.

An NGO that was started by ex-inmates and wishes to scale its operations in a more professional manner. This organization is registered under the PVO Act as a Trust. It is our commitment to fight crime through rehabilitation of ex-inmates. Did you know that many crimes committed are habitual? yes usually ex-offenders do have a record of committing either similar or advanced crime than before. It is our duty to prevent crime.
