The Zimbabwe Gender Commission, in partnership with UN Women and the Zimbabwe Election Support Network , convened a Capacity Building Workshop focused on advancing women’s meaningful participation in Zimbabwe’s political and electoral processes.

The workshop brought key stakeholders together to identify barriers facing women, strengthen institutional responses, review legal and policy frameworks, and clarify roles in promoting women’s representation and leadership.

The goal is to move beyond participation to meaningful representation and influence for women in Zimbabwe’s political processes.

The Commission, led by CEO Virginia Muwanigwa, participated in the 20th Anniversary & Legacy Sport Festival held at the Rozaria Memorial Trust Education and Counselling Centre in Murehwa. We celebrate this milestone and the lasting impact of RMT’s work.
