Quick trip to check on a few things - wonderful to see water in the Gwayi River & a little welcome party of zebra at the entrance to Devils Gorge! 🦓

Rains have kept most of the roads in the concession off limits ~ but rangers are managing to carry on patrols by foot and making sure everything is safe for the animals.

A beautiful Sunday spent exploring Devils Gorge. Buffalo Pan is attracting all sorts of wildlife with the fresh water, the zebra’s are getting so tame and found a cute sand grouse family on the side of the road!

Not really much else you can ask for!

For a community like Lubanda ~ this was a day they will always remember! The ladies walk to the river bed to dig for their daily water supplies - they have never had access to clean borehole water!! Hard to believe right?!

We sited a borehole and with all the children and animals waiting & watching as the rig drilled through dry sand ~ until at 120mts we struck water!! 💦 🙌🏻

This water will supply the whole area with drinking water for themselves, animals as well as the Lubanda Clinic.

Driptech in Harare has donated a solar pump towards this and we are eternally grateful!

Absolutely life changing and we would like to thank everyone involved in this amazing project.

Together we can make a difference!!
