Preparations are officially at an advanced stage for the upcoming National Disability Expo. With 14 countries already confirmed to attend, this year's expo is set to be a groundbreaking event for our nation and the region.
We are deeply grateful to our visionary leader, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who will be gracing this historic event as our Guest of Honour. I extend my profound thanks to the President for his continued guidance and his unwavering commitment to empowering and transforming the livelihoods of Persons with Disabilities. Through his leadership, we are ensuring that we are truly leaving no one and no place behind.
Special thanks go to the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Ezra Chadzamira, and his Permanent Secretary, Dr. Pazvakavambwa. Thank you for your leadership, strategic guidance, and active presence during our vital preparatory sessions.
I also commend our revolutionary party, ZANU PF, for remaining highly proactive and intentionally inclusive. The party continues to champion real empowerment and break barriers for our community.
To all Persons with Disabilities across Zimbabwe, the doors of governance are open. Under the guiding principle that nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, I strongly urge you to step forward, claim your space, and take up active leadership roles in the political arena. Your voices and leadership are essential to building the Zimbabwe we want.
Let us gather in Masvingo this June to celebrate true empowerment and progress. It was an honour engaging with the people of Maphisa during our feedback and sensitization programme on Constitutional Amendment No. 3.
Thank you to everyone who came in their numbers during the recently concluded public hearings especially our brothers and sisters with disabilities, for making your voices heard. Your participation reflects the Second Republic’s commitment to leaving no place and no person behind.
Constitutional Amendment No. 3 is aimed at strengthening policy continuity, stability, and effective implementation of Vision 2030 and NDS2 for a more prosperous Zimbabwe.

The ongoing Disability Symposium marks a historic milestone as the first of its kind in Zimbabwe, bringing together stakeholders to strengthen disability inclusion and empowerment.
We commend the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare for organizing this important platform, which seeks to identify existing gaps and improve implementation in advancing the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.

Under the leadership of His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the Second Republic is driving a shift toward sustainable livelihoods for persons with disabilities—ensuring no place and no person is left behind.
Through initiatives such as the Presidential Roadrunner Scheme, the Piggery Pass-On Project, and access to land for residential and commercial use, communities are being empowered to become entrepreneurs and active contributors to the economy.
Special focus is being placed on women with disabilities and caregivers in marginalized areas, ensuring inclusive and equitable development.
This is the vision of NDS2 in action—towards Vision 2030.

It was truly uplifting to witness Persons with Disability take part in the recently held 46th Independence celebrations half marathon, a testament to His Excellency President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa's inspiring mantra of leaving no one and no place behind, and I felt honored to attend the marathon as the Guest of Honor. Many thanks go the organizer's ofnthe tournament for the job well done. Looking forward to our main independence celebrations on the 18th of April here in Maphisa. To all those who will be attending, we welcome you with open arms. We wish you a pleasant stay in the Rainbow Province.
