Finance Committee Sits to Review Progress and Inspect New Tractors 📝🚜On Tuesday, 21 July 2026, the Marondera Rural District Council Finance Committee held its scheduled sitting to deliberate on key financial matters, budget performance, and resource allocation aimed at driving district development. Following the meeting, committee members took the opportunity to physically inspect the two newly acquired tractors that were delivered on Monday. The committee expressed satisfaction with the procurement, emphasizing that investing in robust road maintenance equipment is a sustainable use of council resources that will directly benefit our community. NDERA FM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARONDERA RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL LAUNCHES A NEW LOCAL COMMUNITY RADIO STATION

In a bid to catalyse local economic development, Marondera RDC participated at the Official launch of the Ndera FM on Saturday the 18th of July 2026. The launch of a local Radio Station will definitely steer local economic development for Marondera District. The coming of Ndera FM will provide a new market place for our agricultural produce. Essential information on input and output prices, availability of inputs, weather forecast, roads condition, emergency preparedness and response, general awareness on crop and livestock production, gender issues, amongst others will be shared on this platform. Council will also utilize this platform to disseminate important information to ratepayers and to have them participate fully in the planning and implementation and evaluation of development projects. Once on air Ndera FM will be reachable on Frequency Modulation 97.0.

This notice serves to inform individuals interested in purchasing the advertised stands. Interested individuals should proceed as follows:
If you are on the waiting list for the specific centers that have been advertised you can come to Marondera Rural District Council Head Office and purchase the interview form and then fill in and submit. If you are not on the waiting list you are required to join the waiting list for the respective center you are interested in and then purchase the interview form and fill in and submit on the same day.
The waiting list fees for the mentioned centers are as follows:

MANDOGA CLINIC OFFICIALLY COMMISSIONED

Marondera Rural District Council is delighted to announce the successful commissioning of Mandoga Clinic on Friday, 3 July 2026, marking a significant milestone in improving access to quality healthcare services for the people of Ward 2 and surrounding communities.
The clinic was officially commissioned by the Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care Honourable Sleiman Timios Kwidini. The event was graced by Mr. Kutamahufa, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Mashonaland East Province, who represented Advocate Ndudzo and the Member of Parliament Marondera East Honourable Mutokonyi.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, led by President Bemba, whose partnership played a key role in making the construction of the clinic possible.
Also in attendance were the Assistant District Development Coordinator, Madam Mukonda, the Chief Executive Officer of Marondera Rural District Council, the Council Chairperson, Councillors, Council officials, Ministry of Health and Child Care staff, Government officials from various Ministries and Departments, Party District Coordinating Committee (DCC) members, traditional leaders, and members of the Ward 2 community.
The commissioning of Mandoga Clinic reflects the power of collaboration between Government, development partners, local leadership, and the community in improving service delivery. The new health facility will bring essential healthcare services closer to the people, reducing travel distances and improving access to maternal and child health services, outpatient care, and other primary healthcare services and will serve more than 10 000people.
Marondera Rural District Council extends its sincere appreciation to the Government of Zimbabwe, the Ministry of Health and Child Care, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and all stakeholders whose support and commitment made this important project a reality.
Together, we are building healthier communities and improving the quality of life for our people.
