CHIRUMANZU RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL | CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN – MVUMA LOOP ROAD

Chirumanzu Rural District Council proudly participated in the National Clean-Up Campaign at Mvuma Loop Road, bringing together government departments, private sector partners, churches, and the local community in promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.
The campaign was attended by the Chairperson of Chirumanzu RDC, Mr. Miti, Assistant District Development Coordinator (DDC) Mr. Mudzingwa, church fraternities led by Reverend Chamanga, ZEC, Agritex, Assistant Executive Officer for Agriculture and Natural Resources (Chirumanzu RDC), Mr. Jaya, Chicken Inn Mvuma, Nice Time, GMB, Veterinary Services (VET), Lands, Judicial Service Commission (JSC), RIDA, Bakers Inn, Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC), Environmental Management Agency (EMA), other MDAs and members of the community.
We sincerely thank everyone who dedicated their time and effort to keeping Mvuma clean. Together, we continue to build a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable Chirumanzu.

The Chirumanzu District Development Coordinator (DDC) and Chirumanzu Rural District Council (RDC) convened a Rural District Development Committee (RDDC) meeting at the RDC offices to launch the Citizen Engagement Scorecard rollout. The event was well-attended by local traditional leaders, Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs), councilors and chairpersons , alongside council employees.
During the meeting, the DDC emphasized that this platform will enhance local service delivery and improve livelihoods by allowing citizens to provide honest, constructive feedback on how both local authorities perform in key service areas. Ultimately, the DDC urged stakeholders to ensure the rollout extends across the entire district, leaving no one and no place behind.

"Chirumanzu RDC Delivers Again: 100% Trained, Committed, Ready to Serve".

They went as recruits; we welcome them back as firefighters.

Seven Chirumanzu Rural District Council staff members one female and six males successfully completed a rigorous one year fire fighting training programme at the City of Harare Fire Brigade Training Centre. They graduated on Tuesday, 21 July, at a colourful ceremony officiated by the Deputy Minister of Local Government and Public Works.

Chirumanzu RDC was one of only three rural local authorities whose fire fighters participated in the joint intensive training programme following the delivery of fire tenders. The successful completion of this training marks a significant milestone in strengthening the Council's emergency response capacity and its commitment to protecting lives and property within the district.
