Female Councillors from the Municipality of Redcliff celebrated Mother’s Day in style during a special event hosted by the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association in honour of mothers and women leaders.
The celebrations were filled with fun and memorable activities, including horse riding and various recreational engagements that promoted unity, wellness and appreciation of motherhood.
The event provided an opportunity for the female Councillors to celebrate their role as mothers, leaders and community builders while strengthening social bonds outside the formal working environment.

The Municipality of Redcliff held a unique Presidential Clean-Up Campaign in Torwood where not only skip bins were cleared, but the entire community was cleaned in a collective effort to promote a clean, safe and healthy environment.

The major highlight of the programme was a tree planting exercise led by Councillors and Council officials as part of efforts to enhance environmental sustainability and beautify the community.

The Municipality applauds residents, stakeholders and all participants who took part in making the clean-up campaign a success. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener and healthier Redcliff.
