We had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Dubai Medical University to Dubai Humanitarian for a meeting with our CEO, Giuseppe Saba, followed by an in-depth exchange on opportunities for future collaboration.

The visit also included a tour of our facilities, showroom, and warehouses.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai Humanitarian coordinated an emergency relief airlift to Nepal, supporting the international humanitarian response following the devastating floods that struck the country.

The shipment delivered critical relief supplies to communities affected by the floods, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for humanitarian response and enabling urgent aid to reach those in need. The airlift was supported by Emirates SkyCargo, who operated the special charter flight to Kathmandu.

بتوجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، سيّرت "دبي الإنسانية" شحنة جوية إغاثية طارئة إلى نيبال، دعماً لجهود المجتمع الدولي في الاستجابة للأزمة الإنسانية الناجمة عن الفيضانات المدمّرة التي ضربت البلاد.

وأسهمت الشحنة الجوية في إيصال مواد إغاثية أساسية إلى المجتمعات المتضررة من الفيضانات، بدعم من "الإمارات للشحن الجوي"، التي سيّرت رحلة جوية استئجارية خاصة إلى كاتماندو، بما يعزّز مكانة دبي مركزاً محورياً في منظومة الإمداد الإنساني العالمية، ويسرّع وصول المساعدات العاجلة إلى المحتاجين.

We were pleased to receive H.E. Ambassador Gerardo Pérez, Ambassador of El Salvador to the UAE, at Dubai Humanitarian for a visit and meeting with our CEO, Giuseppe Saba.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce H.E. Ambassador Pérez to Dubai Humanitarian’s unique model as an independent, non-profit free zone authority, and its role as the world’s largest and pioneering global humanitarian hub. Discussions also highlighted our efforts to advance sustainable humanitarian action and build a Global Safety Net through greater coordination and connectivity among humanitarian hubs and partners worldwide.

The visit also included a tour of our facilities, showroom and warehouses.

سررنا باستقبال سعادة السفير جيراردو بيريز، سفير جمهورية السلفادور لدى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وذلك في زيارة إلى دبي الإنسانية، التقى خلالها المدير التنفيذي، جوسيبي سابا.

وشكّلت الزيارة فرصة لتعريف سعادته بالنموذج الفريد لدبي الإنسانية بصفتها سلطة منطقة حرة مستقلة غير ربحية ودورها كأكبر مركز إنساني والرائد من نوعه في العالم. كما تناول اللقاء جهودنا الرامية إلى تحقيق استدامة العمل الإنساني وبناء شبكة أمان عالمية من خلال تعزيز التنسيق والترابط بين المراكز الإنسانية والشركاء حول العالم.

It was a pleasure to welcome a Swiss delegation to Dubai Humanitarian, bringing together representatives from humanitarian nonprofits, charitable organisations, and the private sector.

The visit offered an introduction to Dubai Humanitarian’s ecosystem and activities, with our CEO, Mr. Giuseppe Saba sharing insights into the work of our community, followed by a tour of our facilities, showroom and warehouses.

For Khaled Kabbara, Communications Officer and Spokesperson for UNHCR in the GCC, humanitarian action is built on partnerships that make urgent response possible. Reflecting on his journey from receiving life-saving relief in northern Uganda to working with the same humanitarian community in Dubai, he salutes and pays tribute to all humanitarians who bring hope where it is needed most.



بالنسبة لخالد كبّارة، مسؤول الاتصالات والمتحدث الرسمي باسم المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، يقوم العمل الإنساني على شراكات تُمكّن الاستجابة حين تكون الحاجة إليها أشد. ومن تجربته في تلقي المساعدات المنقذة للحياة في شمال أوغندا إلى عمله اليوم مع المجتمع الإنساني نفسه في دبي، يوجّه تحية تقدير لكل العاملين في المجال الإنساني الذين يحملون الأمل إلى حيث تشتد الحاجة إليه.

Sara Fikree, Strategic Market Analyst with WFP’s UAE Humanitarian Leadership Programme, reflects on what she witnessed in Ethiopia and the lasting impact humanitarian and development efforts can have on communities. Her message is simple: “Everyone is making a difference in their own way.”
