As a proud resident of St. John's City West, I am truly elated to see the launch of this transformative Nationwide Eye Care Initiative right here in our constituency.

This programme, made possible through the unwavering commitment of our Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative, the Rt. Hon. Gaston Browne, is a testament to what dedicated leadership can achieve for the people. Expanding access to eye screenings, prescription glasses, and treatments that help prevent blindness will make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of Antiguans and Barbudans.

I encourage all residents 40 years and older to take advantage of the free screenings currently taking place at the Villa Polyclinic (July 31 – August 14) and later at the Gray's Green Community Centre (August 17 – August 28) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
