WORK IN PROGRESS: INVESTING IN EDUCATION

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Board of Education 1994-Antigua are committed to creating safe, improved and more conducive learning environments for our students and educators.

Across our school plants, critical infrastructural works are underway as we prepare for the 2026/2027 academic year. From repairs, renovations and expansions to general upgrades, the work continues to ensure that our schools are ready to welcome students and staff for the new school year.

This video provides a glimpse of some of the ongoing work taking place.

Celebrating Excellence in STEM! 🇦🇬

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology congratulates Ajenai Charles and Kha-Lique Harris on their selection to participate in the prestigious 2026 Student Programme for Innovation in Science and Engineering (SPISE).

These exceptional young Antiguans have earned the opportunity to learn alongside some of the Caribbean's brightest STEM students and will travel to Barbados this weekend to complete the residential component of the programme.

We wish them every success as they continue to represent Antigua and Barbuda with pride.

Parents and guardians of students who earned a place on the Top 100 List of the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment are invited to collect the congratulatory letter for your child /ward from the Ministry of Education Headquarters, Government Complex, Queen Elizabeth Highway.

🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. daily

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announces the 2026 School Uniform Grant Programme, designed to provide assistance to families with the purchase of school uniforms for the upcoming academic year.

Every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year with confidence, and this initiative reflects our continued commitment to supporting families while investing in the education and future of our nation's children.
