Dear community,
We warmly invite you to our open plenary on the 10th of May from 1pm on (13:00) in the Türkis Rosa Lila Villa (Linke Wienzeile 102, second floor)
This year, we are focusing on including more people from the QTI*BIPoC community in the organising work of Villa’s social center. We hope to bring together the people who have already been organising in this house and individuals who are interested in co-creating a social center based on shared political values.
At Villa, we are trying to uphold anti-capitalist and decolonial principles and to create systems of mutual aid that support the community. The plenary will include an introduction and explanation of the existing structures at Villa that require collective upkeep, we invite you to be part of this process and contribute to the community.
The idea behind this gathering is to co-create and transform the Villa into a space where people with shared political values can join, participate, and bring more life to it. It is crucial that autonomous places like Villa continue to exist as real third spaces, where you don’t have to pay anything to gather, connect, and organise.
