CTBT စာချုပ် လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးရန် စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သည့် နှစ် (၃၀) ပြည့် အထိမ်းအမှတ်အခမ်းအနားသို့ မြန်မာသံရုံးနှင့် အဖွဲ့ရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ တက်ရောက်

ဗီယင်နာမြို့အခြေစိုက် မြန်မာသံရုံးနှင့် အမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ရုံး ယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးအောင်ကျော်ဇံ သည် ၂၉-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက် တွင် ဗီယင်နာ မြို့တော်ခန်းမ (Rathaus) ၌ ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် နျူကလီးယားစမ်းသပ်ဖောက်ခွဲမှု အလုံးစုံတားဆီးပိတ်ပင်ရေးစာချုပ် (CTBT) လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးရန် စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သည့် နှစ် (၃၀) ပြည့် အထိမ်းအမှတ်အခမ်းအနားသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။
အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားသို့ အထူးဧည့်သည်တော်အဖြစ် တက်ရောက်သည့် ဩစတြီးယားနိုင်ငံ၊ ဥရောပနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာရေးရာဝန်ကြီး H.E. Ms. Beate Meinl-Reisinger က အဖွင့်မိန့်ခွန်းပြောကြားရာတွင် နှစ် ၃၀ အတွင်း CTBTO ၏ ဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များအပေါ် ဂုဏ်ယူကြောင်း၊ နျူကလီးယားစမ်းသပ်ဖောက်ခွဲမှုမှန်သမျှကို တားဆီးပိတ်ပင်‌ရေး၊ CTBT စာချုပ် အပြည့်အဝအသက်ဝင်လာ‌စေရေး၊ စစ်ဆေးအတည်ပြုသည့်စနစ်များကို ထိန်းသိမ်းမြှင့်တင်ရေးတို့ကို ပြန်လည်ကတိကဝတ်ပြုကြရန် တိုက်တွန်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ CTBTO ၏ အမှုဆောင်အတွင်းရေးမှူး Dr. Robert Floyd က အမှာစကားပြောကြားရာတွင် CTBT စာချုပ်ပေါ်ထွက်လာပြီးနောက် နျူကလီးယားစမ်းသပ်ဖောက်ခွဲမှုများ သိသိသာသာ လျော့ကျလာမှုနှင့် စာချုပ်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးသည့်နိုင်ငံ ၁၈၈ နိုင်ငံအထိ တိုးတက်လာမှု၊ နျူကလီးယားစမ်းသပ်မှု စောင့်ကြည့်ရေးစနစ် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်လာမှု၊ ‌စောင့်ကြည့်ရေးစခန်းများမှ ဒေတာများကို သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ် သတိပေးစနစ်များအတွက်ပါ အသုံးပြုနိုင်ခဲ့မှု၊ CTBT စာချုပ် အပြည့်အဝအသက်ဝင်လာရေးအတွက် ဆက်လက်ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ IAEA ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi က နိဂုံးချုပ်အမှာစကား ပြောကြားရာတွင် CTBTO ၏ နျူကလီးယားစမ်းသပ်မှု စောင့်ကြည့်ရေးစနစ် ကောင်းမွန်မှုကြောင့် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ နျူကလီးယား လက်နက်မပြန့်ပွားရေးစနစ် ပိုမိုခိုင်မာအားကောင်းလာမှု၊ နိုင်ငံစုံပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးဝါဒ ပိုမိုအရေးပါလာမှုတို့ကို ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Charge d'Affaires/ Ambassador attends High-Level Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Opening for Signature of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT)

H.E. U Aung Kyaw Zan, Charge d'Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Vienna, attended the High-Level Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the opening for signature of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), held on 29 September 2026 at Volkshalle, Rathaus.
At the event, H.E. Ms. Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, who attended as the Guest of Honour, delivered the opening remarks. She congratulated the CTBTO on its achievements over the past 30 years and called for renewed commitment to preventing all nuclear tests, advancing efforts towards the universalization and entry into force of the treaty, protecting and further strengthening its verification regime.
Dr. Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the CTBTO, delivered remarks highlighting the significant decrease in nuclear explosive tests since the inception of the CTBT, the increase in the number of signatories to 188 States, the improvement of the nuclear test monitoring system, the utilization of data from monitoring stations for natural disaster early warning systems, and ongoing efforts toward the full entry into force of the treaty.
In the closing remarks, Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, stated that CTBTO’s effective nuclear test monitoring system has contributed to strengthening the global nuclear non-proliferation regime and underscored the indispensable role of multilateralism.

Myanmar Embassy/Permanent Mission Participates in the Costumes of the World Show in Austria

​The Costumes of the World Show, organized by the International Cultural Diversity Organization (ICDO) based in Vienna, Austria, was held on 25 September 2026, at Festsaal Rathaus.
​​U Aung Kyaw Zan, Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Myanmar, and wife, along with Ambassadors, cultural attachés from embassies and missions in Vienna and many spectators attended the event.
​​The ceremony was opened with welcoming remarks by Mr. Omar Al-Rawi, Member of the Vienna City Council and Provincial Parliament, Dr. Hermann Muckler, Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna, and Ms. Josipa Palac, President of ICDO. A total of 31 countries, including Myanmar, showcased their traditional costumes with cultural performances.
​​Diplomats and family members of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Myanmar showcased traditional costumes of Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Bamar, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan with the song "Htar Wa Ya Thitsa".

Myanmar Ambassador Attends Reception Hosted by the ASEAN Committee in Vienna

Mr. Aung Kyaw Zan, Ambassador/ Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Vienna, accompanied by his wife, attended a reception jointly hosted by H.E. Dato Fenny anak Nuli, Ambassador of Malaysia and current Chair of the ASEAN- Vienna Committee (AVC), and H.E. Dr. Damos Dumoli AGUSMAN, Ambassador of Indonesia at the Residence of the Indonesian Ambassador on 21 September 2026.
The reception was organized to bid a farewell to H.E. Ms. Pattarat HONGTONG, Ambassador of Thailand who will be departing Austria upon the completion of her duties, and to welcome the Ambassador of Myanmar who has recently arrived in Vienna, Austria.

Myanmar Delegation attends the 70th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

The 70th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is being held from 14 to 18 September 2026 at the Vienna International Centre in Vienna, Austria. The Myanmar delegation, led by Dr. Theingi Maung Maung, Director-General of the Ministry of Science and Technology, is participating in the Conference together with representatives from the Permanent Mission of Myanmar in Vienna.
At the opening ceremony held on 14 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Gustavo Zlauvinen, Permanent Representative of Argentina, was elected as President of the General Conference and delivered an opening address. The ceremony also featured a message from the United Nations Secretary-General, which was delivered by Ms. Monica Juma, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), as well as an address by Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the IAEA. The opening ceremony was followed by the General Debate.
