As part of the project, four short animations were developed to provide practical tips for creating a safe, healthy home and being a good neighbour.

A spare seat at the table, an open invitation, a smiling face on arrival, an event built around something you love, a circle that stretches a little wider – these small but deliberate acts of room-making help us all show up, belong and feel less alone.

Loneliness is one of the primary social challenges reported by individuals with mental health conditions in Australia. Two in five young Australians feel lonely at any given time, and one in seven experiences persistent loneliness.

This Loneliness Awareness Week we celebrate the everyday ways people are making room for each other, at home, work, school and in the community and
