⚽️ INTERSCHOOL SOCCER ⚽️

Today we had our interschool soccer carnival at Ross Park Oval, and it was a fantastic afternoon of teamwork, determination and fun!

A huge thank you to Ms Rhi and Mrs Usher for all of their hard work behind the scenes and for taking the students to the event. Your support and organisation are greatly appreciated.

Our students truly demonstrated our school values of **Care, Share and Shine** throughout the day. The mixed team showed excellent sportsmanship, encouraged one another and always tried their very best.

A special congratulations to our boys' team, who came home as winners! 🏆⚽

Well done to everyone who participated today. We are so proud of the way you represented our school both on and off the field. 🌟

🌱🔍 Today, Mariann from CDU visited Bradshaw to work with a small group of students involved in Children University during lunchtime.

Students explored different types of grass, learned about the science behind them, and were even able to see the grass spin! They also used magnifying glasses to take a closer look at the different grasses, making for a very interesting and hands-on learning experience.

A huge thank you to Mariann for coming to Bradshaw and giving our students the opportunity to participate in such an engaging activity during their lunch break. Experiences like these help inspire curiosity and a love of learning. 💚

Thank you, Mariann, for sharing your time and knowledge with our students!

🎉 Week 8 Attendance Winners! 🎉

Last Friday, we held our Week 8 Assembly and announced our new attendance class winners.

👏 Congratulations to 1/2 Chunys' class for achieving the highest attendance rate over the past fortnight! As a reward for their fantastic effort, they will get to choose the bell song for the next fortnight. We can't wait to hear what they pick! 🎶🎵

Coming to school every day is so important. Regular attendance helps students build friendships, develop positive routines, stay connected with their learning, and gives them the best opportunity to achieve success. Every school day counts! 📚⭐

If your child/ren are absent from school, please remember to notify the front office and provide a reason for their absence so we can mark them accordingly. Keeping our attendance records up to date is very important and helps us support our students and families.

📞 To report an absence, please contact the front office on 08 8955 2100.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing support in making school attendance a priority. Together, we can help every child thrive and reach their full potential.

Well done again to 1/2 Chunys' class on your outstanding attendance! 🏆💙💛

🏕️ Year 4 Camp Adventure! 📚

Yesterday morning, our Year 4 students headed out to the Telegraph Station for an exciting overnight camp experience, taking part in the Alice on the Line program.

Throughout the day, students rotated through a range of hands-on activities, including pottery, a scavenger hunt, cooking delicious scones, blacksmithing, and tea staining paper while practising writing in old-style fonts. Students also enjoyed a beautiful walk up Tigg Hill and a cemetery walk, taking in the rich history and stunning surroundings of the area.

After dinner, students were treated to a special snack of kangaroo tail. A huge thank you to Emma L for taking the time to cook it and bring it out for the students to try. We really appreciate your generosity and helping make the experience even more memorable.

A special thank you to Aleisha for supporting the students throughout the day and assisting with the camp activities. Your help was greatly appreciated and helped make the experience a success.

Thank you also to Emma B for volunteering your time to attend camp and stay overnight with the students and staff. Your support and commitment are greatly appreciated.

A massive thank you to our wonderful staff who helped make this camp such a memorable experience for our students: Ms Warner, Mrs Pedrotti, Miss L, Miss Leila, Mr Obie, and Ms Rhi. Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and care in providing such valuable learning opportunities for our students.

We would also like to thank our families for providing morning tea and for helping get students to and from camp. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make opportunities like this possible.

Today, the Year 4 students and teachers walked into town to visit the cinema and watch The Wild Robot, the book they have been studying in class throughout the semester. It was a great way to bring their learning to life and compare the story they know so well with its adaptation on the big screen.

We hope all of our Year 4 students had an amazing time camping with their friends, learning new skills, exploring local history, and creating wonderful memories together. 🌟😊
