Thank you 💐 Thank you 💐 Thank you
To the incredible volunteers who play a crucial role and enable our toy library to power on, and those who give their time and effort to make our Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
From the volunteers and members who help with sessions, repairs, toy counting, working from home, or managing, to the Centre staff who put in the extra hours to ensure all groups, services and classes are catered for and supported, committees who share their skills, passion and knowledge, community supporting partners for their assistance and advice, and other volunteer community groups at the Centre.
🧸 At toy library there is a job for everyone, no matter their skills or background, from 1 hour to what ever suits. Some amazing volunteers at the Centre cover more than one role 🎖️Outstanding!
Thanks volunteers for supporting others, you make a difference everyday ❤️♥️
Upper Beaconsfield Toy Library
Volunteering is what keeps toy libraries going 💞
Every borrowed toy, every organised shelf, every family welcomed through the door and every toy library session opened is made possible by volunteers.
This National Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the people behind the toy libraries across Australia. The 11,800+ volunteers who give their time, energy and care so children and families can access places to play, connect and belong in their community.
This year’s theme, “Your year to volunteer”, is a reminder that volunteering can create connection, confidence, friendships and a real sense of belonging, not just for families visiting toy libraries, but for the volunteers themselves. Whether it’s meeting other parents, giving back to the community, building skills or being part of something meaningful, volunteering at a toy library can make a real difference for everyone involved.
To every toy library volunteer, thank you for everything you do for your community.
