Last week, students enjoyed the engaging performance Then and Now, which explored the determination, courage and resilience of Australian women throughout history. Through storytelling, puppets, costumes and audience participation, students learned about life in the past and discovered how everyday tasks, technology and opportunities for women have changed over time.

Our Student Leaders put their leadership into action this week, visiting residents at the Beaconsfield District Health Service to deliver gifts they purchased with funds raised during Term 1.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students and residents to connect, share stories, and enjoy activities together. It was fantastic to see the smiles, conversations, and friendships formed throughout the visit.

We are incredibly proud of our Student Leaders for their kindness, generosity, and commitment to giving back to our community. Everyone had a wonderful time, and we thank the residents and staff at the Beaconsfield District Health Service for making us feel so welcome.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Terrific day for running at the TPSSA Cross Country Carnival!

Congratulations to all students who participated today and represented their schools with pride, determination and excellent sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to Mr Paul Lindsay for setting up the course, Mrs Coby Gore for her leadership in coordinating the event, our School Association and Rotary Club of West Tamar for running the BBQ, and MuffinBetter for keeping everyone fuelled with great coffee throughout the day.

We would also like to acknowledge the many student leaders from participating schools who assisted so ably on the day. Your support, enthusiasm and willingness to help contributed greatly to the success of the carnival.

Well done to everyone involved in making it such a positive and enjoyable event! πŸ‘πŸ…πŸŒŸ

πŸ“šπŸ¦˜ Today our students enjoyed participating in National Simultaneous Storytime, joining children across Australia to celebrate the joy of reading together.

This year’s story was Luna Roo the Kangaroo by Adam Wallace and Adrian Beck, a fun and engaging tale that had students captivated from beginning to end. Events like these help foster a love of books, imagination and storytelling while bringing readers together from all corners of the country.

What a wonderful way to celebrate reading! β€οΈπŸ“–

What a wonderful start to Friday morning as we joined together for Walk Safely to School Day. It was fantastic to see such a huge turnout of students, families and staff taking part, finishing the morning with a delicious breakfast of pikelets and flavoured milk on arrival at school.

A huge thank you to Variety the Children's Charity TAS for their ongoing support of our school breakfast program, and a special thank you to our regular volunteers who warmly greet our students each morning and help make our school such a welcoming place!
