📚✨ Celebrate Book Week with Gundanoos Playgroup! ✨📚

Join us on Monday, 24 August for a fun-filled morning of play, stories and rhymes. Children are invited to dress as their favourite book character!

🔬 𝓕𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝔂 𝓢𝓬𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓝𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓪𝓽 𝓑𝓢𝓗𝓢! 🧪✨
Last night, Mrs Huttley went along to Blackwater State High School's Family Science Night, and it was wonderful to see so many of our BNSS students and families there enjoying the evening!

There were plenty of hands-on activities and opportunities to explore, experiment and learn — although we think the prize bags, free BBQ and cake were pretty popular too! 😊

A big thank you to Blackwater State High School for welcoming our families and putting on such a fantastic evening for our Blackwater community. 💙

It was great to see our students embracing opportunities to learn beyond the classroom!

🍎⚡ Prep–Year 2 Power Snack Reminder! ⚡🍌

Families, please remember to pack a healthy Power Snack each day for your child to enjoy during their morning learning session.

Easy Power Snack ideas include fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese or yoghurt. A nutritious snack helps our little learners stay focused, energised and ready to learn! 🌟

Wishing our sushi chef a speedy recovery.

🍣 IMPORTANT TUCKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT 🍣

Unfortunately, our sushi chef is currently out of action, so we have had to cancel sushi day this Wednesday. 😔

All orders containing sushi have been cancelled. Please reorder using the usual tuckshop menu.

🤞 All going well, we’ll be able to announce a new sushi day very soon!

💙 𝓑𝓤𝓘𝓛𝓓𝓘𝓝𝓖 𝓒𝓞𝓝𝓝𝓔𝓒𝓣𝓘𝓞𝓝𝓢 𝓦𝓘𝓣𝓗 𝓞𝓤𝓡 𝓚𝓘𝓝𝓓𝓨 𝓕𝓡𝓘𝓔𝓝𝓓𝓢 💛

Today our Prep teacher Mrs Beddow enjoyed a special visit to our local kindergartens, spending time with children who may be joining the Blackwater North State School family next year. 🏫

Sharing stories, activities and conversations gives the children an opportunity to get to know a familiar face before their exciting journey into Prep begins. 📚✨

We’re looking forward to more visits throughout the term as we help make the transition from Kindy to Prep a positive and welcoming experience.

We can’t wait to see these smiling faces again! 😊

Unfortunately, sickness has struck the tuckshop late this evening, so the tuckshop will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday 18th. 💙💛

All tuckshop orders for tomorrow have unfortunately been cancelled.
