What a great turnout at this week's Bundaberg Careers Expo!

Over 90 stallholders were on hand for great conversations, advice and interactive experiences that showcased a wide variety of industries and organisations.

Thanks to everyone involved in making the event a success - attendees, schools, stallholders, businesses, sponsors and organisers! 🎉 (and especially the robot dog!)

Bundaberg Careers Expo is a joint initiative of Bundaberg Regional Council, Link and Launch, Workforce Australia and Jobs Bundaberg, supported by sponsors Central Queensland University (CQU) and YourTown.

All canoeing spots have now been filled! 🛶

Thank you Bundaberg - all places in the free three‑session canoeing series have been snapped up.

If additional spots become available, we’ll let the community know.

Each session builds on the last, guided by a qualified instructor holding a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership and Swift Water Rescue certification.

It’s a supportive, step‑by‑step way to build confidence across three beautiful local waterways.

This ensures equity and meets the State Government’s full-cost pricing requirements.
