📅 WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK | TERM 3, WEEK 8
We’re heading into a busy Week 8, with HSC showcase events, major work deadlines and the final week of preparation for our Year 11 students before their Final Examinations commence in Weeks 9 and 10.
For Year 11, this week is the time to consolidate your learning. Check your examination timetable carefully, make sure you know exactly where and when each exam is being held, organise your notes and identify the areas that still need attention. Use your teachers, ask questions and make the most of your remaining class time.
A few reminders for effective exam preparation:
* Create a realistic study plan and break revision into manageable sections.
* Practise recalling information without your notes and complete past or practice questions where possible.
* Prioritise areas you are less confident with rather than repeatedly revising what you already know.
* Get enough sleep, eat properly and give yourself regular breaks.
* On exam days, arrive early and bring everything you need so you can begin calmly and confidently.
Our Year 12 Dance and Drama students have already completed their HSC external performance marking, and this week’s Showcase Nights give our community the chance to celebrate the work they have prepared.
For our HSC Music students, this week is their final opportunity to perform their programs before Music external marking takes place in Week 9, from Monday to Thursday across four days. 🎶
🎟️ Tickets for all Showcase events will be available at the door, with both cash and EFTPOS accepted.
There is plenty happening across campus this week, so check the schedule carefully, support our performers and make Week 8 count! 💜📚🎶🎭💃
