SA POWER are carrying out insulator replacements along the 33kv power line that connects Cowell to Cleve on the 2/8 through to the 5/8.

Our crews will be entering and exiting properties along the Birdseye Highway during those days.

EASTERN EYRE HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL INC (EEHAC)

In front of Foodland, Main Street Cowell

EEHAC members, Sue Chase and Kim Baum will be in front of Cowell Foodland to hear Community feedback on our health services.

They are looking for community input on what health services community members would like to see offered in the Cowell, Kimba and Cleve regions, and receive both positive feedback and opportunities for improvement. They will then inform Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) of the community’s views.

Please call in and talk to them on 21st July 2026 anytime between 11am and 12.30pm.

Message from SA Power Networks

Eyre Peninsula residents: insulator pollution remediation works are planned for our region.

SA Power Networks has published the first locations and dates for upcoming insulator pollution remediation works on the Eyre Peninsula.

These works will replace powerline insulators impacted by pollution last summer to improve the reliability of the electricity network.

Customers subscribed to SA Power Networks' SMS and email outage notifications will be kept informed if a planned outage affects their property. If you're not already subscribed, you can sign up on the SA Power Networks website.
