Disability Access & Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2026 – 2030

Council has recently reviewed its Disability Access & Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and is seeking public feedback prior to formal adoption in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1999 and Council’s Communication and Consultation Policy.
The Disability Inclusion Act 2018 requires that each State Authority must have a disability access and inclusion plan. A copy of the plan is available on Councils website www.franklinharbour.sa.gov.au; or can be purchased for a fee at the Council Offices at 6 Main Street, Cowell SA 5602.

We thought it was time to shine a light again on Harbourside Place, our residential land release along Franklin Harbour, with coastal living on your doorstep.

So far, 4 blocks have already been snapped up, with 7 allotments still available for those looking to build locally. Some of the remaining blocks enjoy uninterrupted harbour views, making them a pretty special place to call home
All blocks will be fully serviced, with NBN, water, sewer and power available and ready to connect, making the path to building that little bit easier.

This development was designed to offer easy access to town, the waterfront and the lifestyle many people love about living in Cowell. If you’ve been thinking about building — or know someone who has — now’s a great time to take another look.

For more information, or to have a chat about the available blocks, feel free to get in touch with council.
