Last chance to have your say!

Cowra Council is asking the community to read and comment on the key draft plan that will guide what Council does and how it is funded over the next 12 months.

The draft document on public exhibition includes:

Draft Delivery Program 2025–2026 to 2028–2029 and Draft Operational Plan 2026–2027

Draft Long-Term Financial Plan 2026–2027 to 2035–2036

Draft Revenue Policy 2026–2027

In simple terms, this document explains what Council plans to deliver, what it will cost, and where the money will come from.

The Delivery Program sets Council’s main actions for the four year council term. The Operational Plan lists the services and projects Council is proposing for 2026–2027.

The Operational Plan and Long Term Financial Plan is a key document for the Community. It identifies all of the key activities the Council has committed to undertake over the next financial year and the financial commitment involved. All plans, projects, activities and funding allocations of the Council are directly linked to the Operational Plan and financial plan.

Have Your Say 📣

We invite you to review the Plan and provide your feedback during the public exhibition period. Your input is valuable in helping us shape the future our community aspires to.

All feedback received during the exhibition period will be reviewed and presented to Council for consideration before the Plan is formally adopted.

Public Exhibition Period: Wednesday13th May to Friday 12th June 2026
