🎬 ABOUT Martin Tucker is a travelling "piano doctor", tuning and restoring everything from forgotten uprights to treasured grand pianos. As Australia's acoustic pianos disappear into landfill, he travels across some of the world's most piano-hostile environments with a carload of tools and strings, seeking new clients and the stories locked inside every instrument. Along the way, hospitable old-timers, isolated eccentrics and musical families reveal how the piano has enriched their lives. Over eight years, director Natalia Laska filmed Martin, capturing his obsession with music and dedication to a disappearing craft while celebrating Australia's enduring love affair with the piano and its music.
