We're finishing the week by celebrating the achievements of three of our jets! Congratulations to Sam, Matt and Isla, who represented Forest Hill Public School at the Riverina Cross Country Championships in Gundagai yesterday.

Sam and Matt competed strongly in the Under 11 Boys event, finishing 10th and 15th respectively against the best runners in the Riverina.

A special congratulations to Isla, who placed an outstanding 4th in the Under 11 Girls event. Excitingly, Isla has qualified for the 2026 NSW PSSA Cross Country State Championships next month in Sydney! We wish her all the very best as she prepares to represent Riverina at the state level.

Well done to our valiant Stage 3 boys soccer team for today's efforts against WWPS in the NSW PSSA KO. All boys braved the wind, rain and cold to put on a wonderful spectacle.

Unfortunately we went down 3 - 0. Miss Sutton was most impressed with our mateship and resilience all the way to the dying whistle.

Thank you to Miss Sutton for volunteering her time and effort in organising trials, training sessions and coordinating with opposing schools all throughout this year. Also big thank you to the families and parents for coming and supporting our school with cheers, set up, pack up and even running the line!

Yesterday after school, Forest Hill erupted with laughter as our Kids vs Mums mum event exploded with giggles and games. What a brilliant afternoon watching everyone trying to outdo each other and getting to see some different sides of our students and their loved ones. Let’s just say the FHPS mums, stepmums, grandmothers and sisters came to WIN! Thank you to all the families that came along and helped celebrate our wonderful community!

Help us congratulate our amazing Boys Basketball Team and supercoach Mr Sarina on progressing to Round 4 of the NSW PSSA Knockout, defeating Kooringal Public School 34 - 14.

The team and Mr Sarina have been working extremely hard for this, giving up their free play at lunch to hone their skills and develop as basketballers.

Our boys will now face the winner of Sturt Public School vs Wagga Wagga Public School. More info to come..
