[ GHOSTS OF THE UNDERGROUND ]

A BIG thank you to all our guests who joined us for the last Ghosts of the Underground at the Hobart Town Hall on Friday, 28 August 2026.

We commenced our first investigation for the night all together in a circle in the main room, getting to know our equipment and asking questions. During this time, the DEAD BELL was activating continuously, including ringing once for yes and twice for no to the questions we were asking.

The OVILUS had some interesting words throughout the investigation including , "tragic”, murder", "mamma” and “scared".

The TRIPWIRE was fairly active as it sat on the stairs leading to above the Town Hall, activating on three lights for a long period of time.

During the second investigation one of our LIGHT SENSOR BALLS activated as it sat on a handrail bannister.

The MUSIC BOX activiated for the first time during the later half of our investigation as it sat on the floor in the hallway. This activated “on” and “off” for a period of time.

We conducted an ESTES experiement during both investigations and received some intelligent responses.

The first group received the following responses:

Question: Why did you murder Susannah?
Answer: Pushed.
Question: Do you feel remorse?
Answer: Go - or this could have been No.
Question: Do you have a message you would like to tell us?
Answer: I pushed someone.
The second group received the following responses:

Question: Can you tell us how old you are?
Answers: 24 and 7.
Question: Where were you born?
Answer: Back Street.

The words "help", "time", "Abigail" and "close" were also heard.

The most intriguing sound heard by our guests during this night was the sound of FOOTSTEPS above us when no one else was in the town hall this night 😱 what or who could this have been!

This was the last investigation of the Ghosts of the Underground (for now 😉) and we hope everyone had an enjoyable experience and hope to see you on another Paranormal Investigation one day soon.

[ MILITARY GAOL PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION ]

A huge thank you to all our guests who attended the Hobart Anglesea Barracks for our 2 hour Paranormal Investigation at the MILITARY GOAL on Friday, 21 August 2026.

Our evening commenced in the lower floor of the Gaol with one of our guests DIVINING RODS strongly guiding her towards a certain cell.

The REMPOD activated multiple times in one cell, and the words "I'm a woman" was produced on the OVILUS.

The EDI detected a few cold bursts, while the MUSIC BOX activated sporadically in The Dungeon.

A LIGHT SENSOR BALL activated multiple times while sitting on the stairs.

Once we moved upstairs the REMPOD continued to activate in an upstairs cell, the only time it quietened down was while we played The Beatles.

The MUSIC BOX activated on the upstairs stair case multiple times throughout the second half of the investigation.

During our ESTES we had a few religious themed responses.

Question: Can you tell us the name of someone in this room tonight?
Answer: Jesus. Followed by: New disciple and virgin.
Question: Can you tell us what you can see around you right now?
Answer: Good, Christian community.
Question: Have you met God?
Answer: Accident, as a result of something.
Question: How did you die?
Answer: Got an injury.

[ GHOSTS OF THE UNDERGROUND ] - 15 August 2026

Our second night of GHOSTS OF THE UNDERGROUND certainly gave us plenty to talk about.

And once again, one familiar little spirit seemed to make himself known…Jimmy was back.

The 4-year-old boy returned to the underground and wasted no time making himself known.

He interacted repeatedly with the DEAD BELL, TRIPWIRE, MUSIC BOX and REMPOD

Several guests also experienced interaction with Jimmy, while two guests reported sensing a little boy standing in the corner of the first holding cell.

Was Jimmy making another appearance? We certainly wondered!

Then things took an unexpected turn…

🔥 THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF.

With around 15 minutes remaining in the first session, the group was safely evacuated from the building while the fire service attended.

Thankfully, everyone was safe and the situation was resolved. Once Town Hall staff gave us the all clear, the next investigation went ahead as planned.

And perhaps the strangest part?

The second group had barely begun when the spirits seemed to have something to say about the Sergeant's Room.

One guest immediately felt uncomfortable entering the room and refused to go inside, despite the dowsing rods repeatedly directing her towards it. Eventually, she and her friend encountered a spirit who identified herself as Elizabeth Saddler. She was apparently a caretaker's wife who lived on site with her husband and children.

Then came “JANE” who claimed to be Elizabeth's 20-year-old daughter.

The strange part? Neither appeared to know the other was there.

Mother and daughter…Separated even in whatever may lie beyond.

And then things got even more interesting.

During the ESTES EXPERIEMENT, the Ovilus suddenly called out: "MAD!"

We asked, "Are you mad at us?" The DEAD BELL immediately responded with one ring for YES.

We asked if they wanted us to leave…Silence.

Then a guest asked if the spirits were tired. The DEAD BELL responded YES.

Maybe we have overstayed our welcome - 2 nights in a row.

But the final word came during the debrief at the end of the night when our guide was wrapping up, when the OVILUS suddenly interrupted with a rather sarcastic: "LADY" Then…"MAD!" 😂

Everyone burst out laughing and we ended the night.

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the two nights and we hope you all had an enjoyable experience with us.

We hope to see some of you back on another Paranormal Investigation again one day soon.
