Greater Hume includes the towns of Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera and Walla Walla as well as surrounding smaller villages and rural communities. We are broadening our online presence to better help connect to and engage with our customers. This page will be updated with the latest events, attractions and things to see and do. While this page is an open forum, it is also a family friendly one.

We’ve been keeping a close eye the thunderstorms forecast for this Sunday, and we’ve decided to move our Woodland to Plate event to keep everyone dry and safe!

📍 LOCATION: Cnr Bowna Rd and Plunketts Rd, Bowna

There is plenty happening across Greater Hume this weekend – round up your family and friends and make the most of it!

⛳ Women’s World Sand Greens Championship – Holbrook Golf Club – Saturday, 28 to Monday, 30 March
Enjoy three days of action, kicking off with the Pro-Am on Saturday, followed by Championship rounds on Sunday and Monday. The Club remains open for members and guests, with raffles on Sunday. Come along, soak up the atmosphere and support this fantastic event in our region!

PLANNED POWER OUTAGE - GREATER HUME VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE AND SUBMARINE MUSEUM, SUNDAY, 22 MARCH 2026

Please be advised that the Greater Hume Visitor Information Centre and Holbrook Submarine Museum will be closed Sunday, 22 March as there is a planned power outage.

The Information Centre and Submarine Museum will open as normal on Monday, 23 March 2026
