Individuals can also use this page to make general enquiries about Greater Hume Council Services. While this page is an
open forum, it is also a family friendly one. For this reason we request that all comments, wall posts and submissions are appropriate for the general audience. We reserve the right to remove comments that include any of the below:
• Graphic, obscene or explicit comments or submissions.
• Material which may be abusive, hateful or deemed offensive by any person
• Solicitations, advertisements or spam.
• Comments that suggest or encourage illegal activity.
• Post personal information about another person, including name, if they have not already provided it. This includes identifying a member of Council staff by name.
• Defame other people or organisations. These are comments that harm the reputation of a person or organisation.
• Post things that could be considered intolerant of a person’s race, culture, appearance, gender, sexual orientation, religion or age.
• Link to inappropriate, offensive or illegal material.
• Post irrelevant comments. We will remove or ban any user who:
• Continues to post comments such as those listed above
• Uses offensive images as their profile picture
• Has an offensive user name
Moderation
Whilst every effort is made to promptly reply to enquiries, please be aware that our pages are moderated during Council’s business hours, between 9am to 5pm, weekdays only.
