We are looking for an experienced, SAA-accredited Solar & Battery Electrician to join our North West team.

This isn’t an entry-level solar position. We already have electricians developing their renewable energy skills within the business, so we’re specifically looking for someone who can bring experience to the team, take ownership of installations and hit the ground running.

For the right person, there’s also an opportunity to step into a leadership position and lead an installation crew.

You’ll work across residential and commercial solar, battery storage, EV charging and renewable energy projects, backed by the resources and job security of a Tasmanian business that’s been around for more than 60 years.

→ Minimum Level 6 – $50.62/hour
→ Level 7 – $53.47/hour for experienced installers capable of leading a team
→ Company vehicle
→ Paid RDO options
→ Tool allowance
→ Travel allowances
→ Weekly redundancy contributions
→ Income protection
→ Parental leave top-up
→ Ongoing professional development and long-term career progression within Degree C’s renewable energy division.

If you’re already working in solar and battery and looking for more responsibility, better long-term opportunities and the chance to lead installations, we’d like to hear from you.

Applications are open through SEEK, or if you’re currently employed and would prefer a confidential conversation first, please get in touch.

Exciting leadership role at Degree C Tasmania based in Ulverstone!

We’re making an important investment in our people.

Degree C is appointing a dedicated People & Culture Manager to help shape how we support, develop and engage our team across Tasmania.

With more than 320 employees across our Ulverstone, Launceston and Hobart operations, this is a significant role for our business – and a rare opportunity for the right person to build a People & Culture function within an established Tasmanian company.

Reporting directly to our CEO and working closely with our senior leadership team, you’ll have the opportunity to look at where we are today, identify where we can do better, and help put the strategies, systems and foundations in place for the future.

There’s plenty to get stuck into – from leadership development and workforce planning to employee engagement, performance frameworks, recruitment, employee relations, policies and P&C systems.

We’re open-minded about who the right person might be.

You may already be an experienced People & Culture Manager looking for greater ownership and influence, or an experienced HR/P&C professional ready to take that next step.

What matters is having the experience, judgement and drive to make the role your own.

→ Based at our Ulverstone Head Office
→ Supporting 320+ employees statewide
→ Reporting directly to the CEO
→ Genuine opportunity to build and shape the P&C function
→ Occasional travel across our Tasmanian locations

If you’re looking for a People & Culture role where you can have a genuine impact on how the function develops, we’d love to hear from you.
