Our students put in a fantastic effort at the Interprimary Cross Country today! They showed determination, perseverance and great sportsmanship as they tackled the course.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school, encouraged their peers and gave their best from start to finish. Well done to all runners on a wonderful achievement! πŸ‘πŸŒŸ

Our Big Freeze Frundraiser was a huge success and so much fun.

Student Leaders and LPS Staff were 'dunked' with ice water to raise money for MND. Everyone was very cold but having a lot of fun. Even Mosie had a cup of water tipped over her!

We have raised over $450 so far and are aiming to reach over $500.

Thank you to everyone that donated, got involved and came along to watch!!

Just a reminder that Friday 5 June is a student free day and Monday 8 June is a public holiday.

This means there will be no LiL or Pre - Kinder on Friday 5 June, the next sessions will be Friday 12 June.

We hope our students and their families have a wonderful long weekend.

Just a quick reminder that the Big Freeze is on tomorrow at 1.15pm in the LPS Courtyard. Come and see our Student Leaders, House Leaders and Staff have ice tipped over them.

Remember all students, staff and parents are invited to wear blue and bring along a gold coin to help fight the MND beast. Families are welcome to come along and cheer us on!

See you tomorrow.

National Simultaneous Storytime at LPS
Yesterday our classes celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS).
NSS encourages all students across Australia to come together and read the same text, at the same time, on the same day.
It promotes a joy of reading, storytelling, and connection.
This year’s text was Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller.
Check out 1-2 Abblitt listening to the authors and illustrators read the text live and create some cute headwear!

Prep Denney/Lockwood students had a wonderful time working together to complete a variety of floor puzzles. The classroom was filled with excitement, teamwork and problem-solving as students carefully searched for matching pieces and encouraged one another along the way. Completing puzzles together helps children build important skills such as communication, cooperation, patience and spatial awareness. It was fantastic to see how focussed and engaged the students were while also having so much fun learning together.
