We celebrated our dads and special people last Friday with a Father's Day Breakfast.

We would like to thank all of the dads and special people that came along and celebrated with us, and we hope you all had a fantastic Father's Day! We all had a great morning, enjoying an egg and bacon roll and a hot drink!

During Week 6, our Grade 1–2 classes were very lucky to have Nurse Nichola visit us for our Teddy Bear Hospital sessions! 🧸🩺
Across the week, students took part in a range of fun and interactive activities focused on health, safety and caring for ourselves and others. They explored topics including being the Boss of Your Own Body, personal boundaries and consent, calling 000 in an emergency, basic first aid and when to seek help from a trusted adult.
Students also had lots of fun rotating through our Teddy Bear Hospital stations, using medical equipment such as stethoscopes, thermometers and bandages while caring for their teddy bear patients. 🩹❤️
A huge thank you to Nurse Nichola for spending time with each of our Grade 1–2 classes and making these important lessons so engaging and memorable for our students! 🧸🏥✨

On Monday, our Grade 5 and 6 students put their maths skills, teamwork and problem-solving abilities to the test in an exciting Maths Relay!

Working in teams, students had just 45 minutes to solve as many maths problems as they could. The challenge required plenty of communication, collaboration, strategic thinking and perseverance as teams raced to work through each problem correctly.

There was lots of excitement, teamwork and some serious mathematical thinking along the way! 👏🧮

We have been very busy learning and having fun together in Prep Denny/Lockwood.

We have created some lovely winter tree art, created some lions with colourful patterned manes in Maths, and have been doing some amazing writing to record our weekend news.

We hope you enjoy some of our work.
