Healthy habits start with small steps 🍎🥕🥦

Over the first half of our MyState Foundation Healthy Habits program, members have been guided through a series of educational sessions led by an incredible line-up of experts. They’ve explored nutrition, learned how to make informed food choices, and stepped outside their comfort zones by trying new foods along the way + enjoyed getting on the tools in the kitchen too!

It’s been wonderful to see confidence grow as members discover simple ways to support their health and wellbeing.

Our Northern member, Jonty, saw a problem and wanted to help solve it. With support from Kim, he put together a letter to seeking assistance to replace our broken basketball backboard at the Northern clubhouse.

A huge thank you to the team at SportsPower, who generously supported the project with a discount on the new backboard, and to everyone who donated to help make it happen.

Jonty was pledged $10 for every three-pointer he made at last week's basketball session. He stepped up and sunk 6 three-pointers, raising $60, of which the amazing Shaun Richardson generously doubled, helping us get even closer to our goal.

Thanks to Jonty's initiative, SportsPower's support, and the generosity of our community for making this possible 🏀👏
