Welcome to Post Sanity a Satire comedy Blog based on the lighter side of post.

If you follow my blog, you’ll wind up understanding why God never made another like me, but for the sake of understanding how I wound up in charge, fast forward to 2022, the floods washed my career, my belongings, and my husband straight into the Richmond River. I ended up living in a caravan next to the structural skeleton of what used to be a ridiculously fancy house. Naturally, instead of doing something sensible, I got in in my head that the wonderful water-logged, soon to close Post Office, would be safe within my keeping and decided I had what it takes to save South Lismore, fortunately, the locals had a brighter idea and saved my heart instead.

Within two years we’d won a treasure trove of titles including NSW LPO of the Year. The trophies are currently in a box out back catching dust, because a fancy certificate just can’t measure up to a community that wraps you up in its love, and a staff comprised of crackpot, parcel-scanning comedians.

Consider this our digital front desk.

Expect local larrikins, daily madness, and an absolute refusal to let the local losses crush our community's heart.

As you know, since taking ownership of Ettie, our beloved 1880’s post office, I’ve been unleashing my ADHD upon our lovely locals and holding your parcels hostage to my daily antics.
But because a woman has to think about her future, I’ve decided to start a brand new, behind-the-scenes digital diary called "Ettie's Front Counter."

It’s a digital journal, another place to connect with me, Jen and the crew, when you can’t get into town!

Filled with our daily goss, our beloved local larrikins, and our absolute refusal to let standard corporate pressure crush the heart of South Lismore.
