National Reconciliation Week 2026

Marks Point Public School celebrated National Reconciliation Week with a special whole school assembly. Thank you to our special guest Leah Armstrong who shared her story.

NRW is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. It is a time to celebrate and build on positive and respectful relationships and connections.

Boccia

Our small group of talented students recently participated in an exciting Boccia competition at Newcastle Basketball Stadium. The event was not only a wonderful opportunity for our students to compete, but also to build confidence, make new friends and embrace the values of fair play. We're so proud of their enthusiasm! Congratulations to everyone involved.
