Today Milton PS played Ulladulla PS in Round 2 of the PSSA State Soccer in both the Boys and Girls.
The boys defeated UPS 4-2 whilst the girls defeated UPS 4-0.

On 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 the second storey floor of our new building will be poured. This will involve concrete trucks entering and exiting our bottom Wason Street entrance from early in the morning until approximately 2:30pm. Extensive traffic control will be in place throughout the day across the Highway, Thomas and Wason streets.

To assist traffic flow and student safety we ask if parents could:

👉 utilise school bus travel for their children if at all possible, particularly in the morning.
👉 be aware that turning into Thomas Street from the highway in the morning may be congested. Parking elsewhere and avoiding Thomas Street will help
👉 discuss with your child the importance of using the zebra crossing to cross Thomas Street at all times.

At this stage the builders are hoping to go ahead - significant rain early in the morning may delay the pour - fingers crossed for the Zauner team!

We had a beautiful visit to the Milton Hospital today to say thank you to our nurses and to celebrate International Nurses Day. We left some wonderful artworks behind to brighten the walls.

Today our four dance troupes made history for Milton PS.
We sent 89 students to Nowra and had an absolute blast!

The most successful Eisteddfod results yet:
1st Place - Ms Wills' Infants
1st Place - Ms Wills' Seniors
2nd Place - Mrs Craig & Mrs Gruosso's Juniors
3rd Place - Miss Howes' Mixed Primary

Then to top off a sensational day, the Senior troupe were awarded the Anderson Award (a cash prize for the school) which is awarded to a troupe chosen by the adjudicator as the most outstanding troupe of the day!
