If you plan to get away for a relaxing weekend anytime soon in one of our State's wonderful National Parks, please be aware of the following.

Thanks to favourable autumn conditions in areas around the state, nearly 100 hazard reduction burns have been completed or are underway across , with more planned subject to suitable weather🔥

These burns are an essential part of fire management, reducing fuel loads to protect people, properties, the environment, cultural values and our precious national parks in the event of a bushfire.

For your awareness and safety, remember:
🔥 Temporary road and park closures may be in place while we undertake burns
🔥 People with asthma and respiratory problems should keep clear of affected areas
🔥Close windows and doors to reduce smoke exposure
